Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Morris's choice of entrance music: Clique . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Morriss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Nice sprawl there from Funkyama as Morris shoots in.
Morris ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Funkyama misses with a hook
and Morris counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Morris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Funkyama is just riding it out for now. Morris eventually gives up the hold.
Well, if Morris is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Morris is working to tighten his grip on Funkyama's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Funkyama has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Morris is really squeezing tight and eventually Funkyama passes out! Morris breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
