Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jerald Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris has chosen Molly as his entrance music. The key to victory for Jerald Davidson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerald Davidson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Harris! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Davidson tries to clinch up and Harris counters with a nice double leg into guard. Harris prevents Davidson from getting back to his feet. Harris showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jack Harris has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Davidson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Davidson lands in his opponent's guard. Harris keeping moving, preventing Davidson from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davidson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Harris's guard. Harris has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Jerald Davidson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Davidson enables Harris to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Davidson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Harris politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Harris prefers to stall for the moment though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davidson pushes Harris away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Harris gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Davidson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Davidson is letting Harris control him for a moment. It looks like Harris might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. You can see the frustration on Davidson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Davidson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Harris asserts his dominance and retains side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee asks Harris politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Harris prefers to stall for the moment though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack Harris hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Harris fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Davidson to the ground. Harris is now in Davidson's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jack Harris. Davidson looking to score a takedown here. Harris is defending well but Davidson drives through and ends up in Harris's guard.

Harris looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Harris's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Let's hope that Harris has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jack Harris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Jack Harris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Harris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
