Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hamder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikita Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamder kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Madonna - Erotica. Nikita Kalashnikov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nikita Kalashnikov! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalashnikov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hamder managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Kalashnikov.
Kalashnikov works to advance to full mount. Hamder defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Kalashnikov moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hamder has worked his arm free - good work by Hamder!
Kalashnikov swings around for an armbar but Hamder sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kalashnikov's guard. Kalashnikov controls Hamder momentarily but Hamder frees himself. Kalashnikov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hamder pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kalashnikov is keeping the position for now. Kalashnikov is looking for a triangle but Hamder pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hamder won't allow Kalashnikov to sweep him here. Kalashnikov controls Hamder momentarily but Hamder frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kalashnikov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hamder gets to his feet. Kalashnikov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Hamder shoots in for a takedown and gets it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kalashnikov wants to control but Hamder is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hamder stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Kalashnikov to get to his feet. Hamder wants to clinch up but Kalashnikov keeps it at a distance. Kalashnikov tries for a takedown but Hamder circles away easily and Hamder counters with a takedown into side control. Kalashnikov is looking for a sweep. Hamder controlling the position. Kalashnikov is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamder has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kalashnikov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kalashnikov won't allow Hamder to sweep him here. Hamder is working hard here to advance position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Hamder looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hamder works Kalashnikov's body with a nice hook. Kalashnikov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jack Hamder is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hamder looks to land a combination but Kalashnikov avoids it well.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kalashnikov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kalashnikov wants to sweep but no luck. Kalashnikov is looking for a triangle here but Hamder uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Kalashnikov is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hamder has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hamder! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hamder gets to his feet. Kalashnikov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Hamder with that takedown attempt. Hamder shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Hamder uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kalashnikov. Hamder doesn't manage to clinch there - Kalashnikov circles away.
Hamder moves in looking to clinch but Kalashnikov pushes him off. Kalashnikov shoots in and drives through. Hamder sprawls well. Hamder tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kalashnikov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A punch combination from Hamder misses. Kalashnikov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hamder as he avoids it easily. Jack Hamder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikita Kalashnikov. Hamder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kalashnikov throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hamder escapes and throws Kalashnikov's legs to the side, diving into side control! Kalashnikov manages to get back to half guard. Kalashnikov tries to roll over but Hamder keeps him under control.

Hamder has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kalashnikov uses from the top position. Hamder controlling Kalashnikov's posture. Nikita Kalashnikov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kalashnikov has gone for a leg lock! Hamder slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kalashnikov's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Hamder showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hamder has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
