The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos avoids the head kick by Grant.
Grant misses with the combination.
Grant throws a head kick but Ramos moves out of range.
A shot to the liver by Grant. Beautiful body shot.
Nice sprawl there from Grant as Ramos shoots in.
Grant is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ramos.
A left lands for Ramos.
Grant stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grant wants it to stay on the feet.

Grant tries to bum rush Ramos with a series of wild strikes but Ramos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ramos ducks under a wild hook from Grant.
Ramos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Grant stuffs the takedown attempt from Ramos. Ramos gets slowly back to his feet.
Grant misses with a two punch combination.
Grant cracks Ramos with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ramos loads up on a big right hand but Grant slips the punch.
Ulysses Grant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grant throws a nice inside leg kick.
Ramos lands a jab to the nose.
Ramos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Grant's waist but Grant gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ramos off to one side.
Grant has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Grant thuds his right hand into Ramos's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Grant lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Grant closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Ramos! Grant dives in looking to finish! Ramos is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
