The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ota closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ota lands an elbow that stopped Hotsauce in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Johnny Hotsauce has been cut.
Ota landing knees to the head.
Hotsauce's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ota is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Ota comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Ota landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Hotsauce is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hotsauce takes a shot to the head.
Johnny Hotsauce's cut is getting worse.
Ota lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Ota scores a nice knee to the body.
Ota drops Hotsauce with a big knee straight up the middle! Hotsauce is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Ota forces Hotsauce back against the cage and clinches.
Ota jerks Hotsauce's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Hotsauce drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Ota goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Ota because Hotsauce was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
