The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kodveinko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vickers avoids it really well and circles away.
Vickers lands with a cross.
Vickers stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Vickers swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kodveinko.
Kodveinko shoots in and bounces Vickers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Vickers lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kodveinko!

Kodveinko avoids a strike by Vickers and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Vickers's guard! Fantastic escape!
Kodveinko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Jack Vickers has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Vickers lands with an uppercut that bounces Kodveinko off the cage and back into range.
Vickers tries to clinch up but Kodveinko circles away and keeps his distance.

Vickers cracks Kodveinko with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Vickers has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Vickers lands an uppercut, right on the button! Kodveinko tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
