Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earl Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anthony Miles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Earl Bryan!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bryan has time to react.

Miles closes the distance and clinches.

Bryan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Miles stuffs the takedown.
Miles stuffs the takedown.
Bryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Anthony Miles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Earl Bryan.

and Bryan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Earl Bryan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Miles moves into the clinch successfully.
Miles has had enough of the clinch but Bryan keeps him there for the moment.
Miles is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bryan is defending well.

Miles jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bryan walks away with a smile on his face. Miles gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bryan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Miles is trying to defend but Bryan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bryan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miles does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bryan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Miles is looking to control Bryan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Miles avoid being mounted?

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bryan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miles defends well.

Miles decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bryan, up you get!
Miles shoots in and drives through. Bryan sprawls well.

Miles darts in and clinches Bryan up against the cage.

Bryan moves in looking to clinch but Miles pushes him off.
Miles tries to clinch but Bryan moves out of range.

Miles throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bryan's waist but Bryan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miles off to one side.
Miles shoots in but no luck this time.
Bryan fails with a takedown attempt.

Bryan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Earl Bryan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Miles escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bryan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Miles is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bryan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Bryan wants to get up but he can't break Miles's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Bryan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Well Bryan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
