Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dark Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sho Goon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sho Goon!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter clinches with his opponent.
Hunter tries a body shot but Goon blocks it.
Hunter has had enough of the clinch but Goon keeps him there for the moment.
Goon fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Goon is trying to drag Hunter to the mat but Hunter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Goon jumps guard but Hunter stands there with Goon around his waist. Goon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Goon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hunter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hunter manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Goon throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hunter uses it to pass to side control.
Hunter has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Oooooh!!! Hunter has knocked Goon down with a huge combo! Hunter steps away and waves a wobbly Goon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

I was talking to Hunter's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Goon is breathing heavily.
