The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandoval paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Morote Gari has been cut.

Gari throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sandoval cracks Gari with an uppercut from hell and Gari crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Sandoval's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Gari is rocked!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Sandoval gets to his feet and stands over Gari, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Gari felt that one! Sandoval unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Gari from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Juanito Sandoval!
