The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balrog avoids the head kick by Grabowski.
Damian Grabowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grabowski misses with a wild body shot.
Left hook, right uppercut from Grabowski.
Grabowski takes one to the side of the head.
Grabowski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Balrog.
A looping hook to the body misses from Balrog. Grabowski does a little dance to reset his feet.
Balrog connects with a jab.
Balrog lands a nice hook to Grabowski's body. Grabowski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Balrog stuffs the takedown attempt from Grabowski. Grabowski gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Balrog catches Grabowski with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A big left from Balrog misses.
Grabowski moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Balrog lands a nice shot to the body.
Grabowski throws out a leg kick but Balrog moves out of range and Grabowski only half commits.
Balrog connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nice sprawl there from Balrog as Grabowski shoots in.
Balrog connects with a looping right hand.
Grabowski moves forwards but Balrog connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Grabowski wants to slow Balrog down by chopping away at his legs.
Mike Balrog is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A cross from Balrog lands.
Balrog ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Balrog's jab looks to have found its range, popping Grabowski under the eye.
Grabowski looks to land a left hand but Balrog moved out of range nicely.
Balrog tests Grabowski's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Balrog keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Grabowski. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Balrog lands a left and a right that send Grabowski crashing to the mat, dazed. Balrog thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Grabowski is rocked!

It looks like Damian Grabowski has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Balrog lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Grabowski up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Balrog from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Grabowski's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
