Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charley Mcpherson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Hoekzemaar!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcpherson clinches up against the cage.
Hoekzemaar wants to get back to striking at distance but Mcpherson won't allow it.

Hoekzemaar wants to sweep here but Mcpherson controlling him for the moment.

Mcpherson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hoekzemaar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mcpherson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hoekzemaar had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mcpherson defends it easily.

Mcpherson is really struggling to control Hoekzemaar but he's trying to hold on to the position.

A jab from Hoekzemaar finds it's way through Mcpherson's defenses.

Mcpherson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hoekzemaar defends it well.
