Grankton's entrance music is Volbeat - Lola Montez. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaboinov clinches up against the cage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Grankton shoots for a double leg takedown but Zaboinov sprawls well. He's pushed Grankton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Zaboinov lands a left and a right that send Grankton crashing to the mat, dazed. Zaboinov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Theo Grankton has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zaboinov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zaboinov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Grankton takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Zaboinov cracks Grankton with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Grankton tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Zaboinov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Grankton is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
