Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vito Starkard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vito Starkard!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starkard wants to clinch up but Fernandez keeps it at a distance.
Starkard moves into the clinch.
Starkard is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Starkard's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Starkard comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Marcus Fernandez has been cut.
Fernandez drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Starkard pulls guard effortlessly.
Fernandez is pushing down on Starkard's leg trying to pass to half guard. Starkard is fighting to maintain full guard but Fernandez has managed to sneak the leg through.
Fernandez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Fernandez trying to pass the guard but Starkard defending well.
Fernandez is working for a submission of some sort.
Starkard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fernandez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fernandez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Starkard is looking to control Fernandez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Starkard avoid being mounted?

Fernandez wants to work for an arm triangle but Starkard is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Fernandez is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Fernandez looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Starkard is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Starkard regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Fernandez.
Fernandez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Starkard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fernandez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fernandez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Starkard can't keep his opponent in guard - Fernandez advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Fernandez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Starkard sees it coming and defends easily.
Fernandez is trying for a kimura here. Starkard looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Fernandez wins by kimura!
