Barac comes to the cage accompanied by Connected. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Christianson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Barac's head backwards.
Barac does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Christianson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Christianson throws a sloppy head kick
and Barac counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Barac fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Christianson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Barac moves out of range of the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Christianson misses with a looping right.
Barac motions for Christianson to come forward. Barac throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Christianson misses with a body shot.
A big left from Barac misses.
Christianson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Barac cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Christianson throws a leg kick but Barac sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Barac - that will leave a mark!
That kick from Barac tenderised Christianson's leg. Christianson is trying to keep his angry face on.

Christianson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barac.
Barac moves out of range of the body kick from Christianson.
Barac throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Christianson loads up on a big right hand but Barac slips the punch.
Christianson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Barac lands a big head kick that sends Christianson tumbling to the mat! Barac takes a step backwards and waves Christianson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Blaze Christianson has been cut.

Christianson throws a leg kick which misses Barac's front leg but catches the back leg as Barac tries to avoid it.
Christianson throws a low kick but Barac avoids it.
Whack! Barac lands a heavy head kick that drops Christianson. The ref tackles Barac to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Christianson was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Ivan Barac!
Ivan Barac tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
