Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Owen or perhaps it was just good defense by Rogers which made him look bad.
Rogers wants to clinch up but Owen keeps it at a distance.
Rogers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rogers decides to stand up.
Owen clinches up with Rogers and pushes him back against the cage.

Rogers turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rogers manages to end up in side control.

Nice takedown defense from Owen. No joy for Rogers on that attempt.
