Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Horacio DuMaine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Michal Michalski! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Michalski scores with a hook. DuMaine takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
DuMaine tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Michalski avoids the head kick by DuMaine.

The fight stays on the outside here - Michalski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. DuMaine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Michalski but Michalski pushes him off and we're back to square one. DuMaine is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Michalski is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Horacio DuMaine wasn't doing enough on the ground. DuMaine swings for the body but Michalski moves out of range.
Michalski fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and DuMaine has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. DuMaine throws a sloppy head kick and Michalski moves out of range easily. DuMaine misses with a wild body shot. Michalski clinches up against the cage. DuMaine can't find room to land a body shot as Michalski controls the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DuMaine drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

DuMaine scoring with some ground and pound. DuMaine postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. DuMaine trying to control but Michalski is working from the bottom. DuMaine loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. DuMaine pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Michalski is keeping the position for now. DuMaine throwing strikes but missing. DuMaine pushes down on Michalski's leg and manages to get into half guard. DuMaine missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Michalski won't allow DuMaine to pass to mount. DuMaine moves into full mount! Michalski won't be happy about that! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DuMaine shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Michalski as he jumps to the side. DuMaine fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Michalski looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for DuMaine! Michalski working away. DuMaine is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Michalski's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. DuMaine wants to improve his position but Michalski is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Michalski is looking to take a break and control but DuMaine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. DuMaine keeping hold of Michalski's head, controlling as best he can. DuMaine's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. DuMaine looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Michalski is fending him off so far but DuMaine persists. Nope, Michalski circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Horacio DuMaine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Michalski tries to clinch up but DuMaine circles away and keeps his distance. No luck with that takedown attempt from DuMaine. Michalski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts DuMaine as he jumps to the side. Horrible takedown by DuMaine or perhaps it was just good defense by Michalski which made him look bad. DuMaine avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Michalski's guard. Michalski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Michalski looking for a guillotine here but DuMaine defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. DuMaine wants to control from the top but Michalski keeps moving. DuMaine connects with a couple of short punches. DuMaine trying to control the position from guard on top but Michalski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. DuMaine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Michalski swivels though and keeps the full guard. DuMaine throws a big right hand that misses. Michalski looking to control.

DuMaine closes the distance and clinches up with Michalski, looking for a takedown. DuMaine pushes Michalski against the cage but Michalski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. DuMaine is in close to Michalski's body, working some short punches and elbows. DuMaine is looking to work some ground and pound but Michalski has wrist control. DuMaine works a leg free and moves into half guard. DuMaine is keen to just control but Michalski is a slippery customer. Michalski keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. DuMaine tries to pass the half guard into mount. Michalski knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Michalski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Michalski taking some punishment here, with DuMaine in his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. DuMaine seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Michalski does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. DuMaine stops Michalski from getting back to his feet.

DuMaine missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. DuMaine is keen to just control but Michalski is a slippery customer. DuMaine looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Michalski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. DuMaine has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. DuMaine lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. DuMaine winds up and cracks Michalski with a swinging punch to the side of the head. DuMaine prevents Michalski from improving his position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. DuMaine lands a nice short elbow. Michalski blocking the ground and pound attempt from DuMaine. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! DuMaine lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. DuMaine thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Michalski's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DuMaine works his way into side control. DuMaine working the ground and pound. DuMaine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no DuMaine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! DuMaine scoring with punches and elbows. DuMaine lands a nice forearm strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. DuMaine trying to control the position but Michalski is working away. DuMaine is chipping away with strikes.
DuMaine advances to full mount. Michal Michalski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! DuMaine working the ground and pound effectively.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. DuMaine lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. DuMaine with a couple of short strikes. Horacio DuMaine is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. DuMaine with shots to the head and body - Michalski looks very uncomfortable down there.
And that's the end of the fight! Horacio DuMaine showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for DuMaine, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
