Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Departie clinches with his opponent.
Departie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Allen smiles and moves away.
Allen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Allen misses with a takedown
and Departie counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Departie.
Departie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Departie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Departie postures up in Allen's guard and throws a big left but Allen blocks it.
Departie tries to stand but Allen is controlling from the bottom.
Allen is wriggling around but Departie manages to pass to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harry Allen has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Allen shoots for a double leg takedown but Departie sprawls well. He's pushed Allen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Allen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Departie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Departie. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lenard Departie wasn't active enough on the ground.
Departie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Allen tries to avoid it but Departie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Allen to the ground. Allen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Allen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

That was a close second round but I would say that Harry Allen will probably get the nod.
That's time! Allen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Allen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Departie quickly recovers to half guard.

Allen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Departie is looking to escape.
Allen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Departie can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
