Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Espirit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ong Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bak has chosen you've lost that loving feeling as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ong Bak was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bak has closed the distance and engaged Espirit in a clinch.

Bak is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

I was talking to Espirit's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Bak unloads a knee to the mid-section. Espirit lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Clinched against the cage, Bak lands a big elbow that drops Espirit! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Espirit is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

During a confident post fight interview, Ong Bak thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
