Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Halo Olah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McDougall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Halo Olah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John McDougall! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDougall changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. McDougall lands a lovely overhand right. McDougall is looking to land body kicks. McDougall listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Olah tries to score a power double leg takedown but McDougall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Olah somewhat. Olah fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Olah looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Olah ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Olah misses with a leg kick. McDougall ducks right into an uppercut from Olah.
It looks like John McDougall has been cut. Good work by McDougall as he checks the leg kick. McDougall throws a leg kick but Olah moved away. Olah goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. McDougall jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McDougall throws out a token jab with nothing on it. McDougall throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olah shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McDougall pinned against the cage. McDougall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Olah misses with a head kick.
Olah looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. McDougall shoots in looking for a takedown but Olah manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McDougall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Olah takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Olah lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Olah throws a sloppy head kick and McDougall moves out of range easily. Olah throws out a loose jab but McDougall uses good head movement to avoid it. McDougall shoots in looking for a takedown but Olah manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McDougall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Olah throws a right hand that McDougall ducks under and follows up with a left that McDougall also avoids with ease. Olah scores with a crisp jab that stopped McDougall in his tracks. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McDougall looks to throw the jab but Olah is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olah doesn't manage to clinch there - McDougall circles away.
Olah throws a nice outside leg kick. McDougall staying out of range there. Olah avoids the body shot from McDougall.
Olah works McDougall's body with a nice hook. McDougall pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A cross from Olah lands. Olah lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McDougall circles away quickly and effectively. Olah goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A big left from Olah misses. McDougall takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Olah throws a big overhand right that connects, sending McDougall tumbling to the canvas!
McDougall is rocked! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. McDougall has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. McDougall is still in real trouble! Can Olah finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Olah controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Olah's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Olah throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. McDougall seems to have recovered his senses. Olah trying to control the position from guard on top but McDougall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Olah trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. McDougall keeping moving, preventing Olah from controlling successfully. Olah stopping the sweep attempt from McDougall. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Halo Olah. McDougall misses with an uppercut. Olah shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McDougall defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Halo Olah. That's going to take a lot out of him. Olah throws a lazy body kick and McDougall counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Olah uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McDougall. Olah lands a jab to the nose. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fight moves into the clinch position. McDougall can't break the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McDougall is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Halo Olah dominated that round. The cut man is working on John McDougall's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Olah misses with a straight right. Olah throws a chopping leg kick but McDougall manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Olah is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McDougall can do to turn this around? McDougall uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Olah. Halo Olah is winning the standup battle so far. Olah takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. McDougall keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Olah. McDougall defending well as Olah loads up on a big left hand. McDougall scores with a shot to the body.

McDougall throws the left hand but Olah avoids the punch easily. Olah attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. McDougall stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Olah dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Olah punishes McDougall's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sloppy strikes from Olah. Those never looked like landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice defenses there by McDougall. McDougall swings for the body but Olah moves out of range.

and Olah counters with a nice double leg into side control. McDougall won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Olah wants to control but McDougall is keeping him busy. Olah tries to advance position but instead McDougall slips a leg back in to half guard. Olah thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McDougall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Olah is working away from the top position though. Olah looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Olah thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McDougall's head. Olah ducks under a wild hook from McDougall. A big left from McDougall misses. Olah lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Olah attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Olah looks to land a right hand but McDougall moved out of range. McDougall thuds a left hand into Olah's body. Olah throws a head kick that misses and McDougall counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Olah misses with a hook. Olah throws a wild body kick that McDougall sees coming a mile off. McDougall attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. McDougall on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Olah. Olah obviously looking to wear him down.
Olah drops McDougall with a left right combo! Olah follows him down to the ground into side control.
McDougall is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Olah sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but McDougall is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Olah taking a breather here. Olah grinds an elbow into McDougall's temple. McDougall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Olah wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McDougall, who protects the arm well. Olah working away. McDougall seems to have recovered his senses. Olah working the ground and pound. Olah is looking to take a break and control but McDougall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Olah seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McDougall dodges the ground and pound from Olah. McDougall gets back to half guard. Olah thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Olah controlling the pace. Olah working McDougall over with strikes. Olah missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. McDougall tries to get to full guard but Olah has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDougall moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Olah trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Olah throws a big right hand that misses. Olah loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Olah engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. McDougall is pulling down on Olah's head to control his posture. Olah throws a big elbow that misses. Olah trying to control but McDougall is working from the bottom. Olah has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Olah is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Olah passes McDougall's left leg - he's now in half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Olah is figuring out what he wants to do next. McDougall avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Olah. Olah is trying to control. McDougall wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Olah is taking a breather. McDougall says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Olah working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that's the end of the fight! Halo Olah showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Olah, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
