Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harley Tran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Lashman! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tran blocks a head kick by Lashman.
Lashman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tran stuffs the takedown. Lashman tries to clinch but Tran moves away and Tran counters with a big head kick but Lashman shrugs it off. Tran misses with a straight right. Jake Lashman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lashman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tran pinned against the cage. Tran gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Harley Tran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Lashman. Lashman shoots in and drives through. Tran sprawls well. Lashman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tran but Tran pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lashman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lashman looks to clinch and Tran counters by moving into the clinch.

Tran has Lashman pressed against the cage, preventing Lashman from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Lashman wants a takedown but no success here.
Tran pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lashman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lashman looks winded! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lashman. Tran looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Tran is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lashman has managed to free his arm - good work. Lashman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tran pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tran missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lashman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tran moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Lashman being controlled here momentarily. Tran is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lashman won't allow Tran to sweep him here.

We're going to have a standup here because Harley Tran wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lashman. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lashman has his takedown stuffed and Tran counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tran. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lashman throws a nice looking combination but Tran bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lashman shoots in but Tran avoids the takedown attempt easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lashman is defended easily by Tran. Tran misses with a takedown attempt - Lashman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Lashman. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lashman. Jake Lashman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Horrible takedown by Tran or perhaps it was just good defense by Lashman which made him look bad. Lashman is breathing heavily. Lashman throws a half hearted mid kick. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lashman. Tran moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Lashman has his takedown stuffed and Tran counters with a nice uppercut.

Tran shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lashman as he avoids it easily. Tran circles away from the clinch attempt.

Tran tries to close the distance and clinch but Lashman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jake Lashman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Harley Tran is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lashman shoots in looking for a takedown but Tran manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lashman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jake Lashman. I think Tran has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
