Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blake Daughtry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen Bill Monroe & The Bluegrass Boys - Southern Flavor as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Daughtry swivels and escapes.
The fighters circling - Daughtry throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
John Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smith on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Daughtry. Daughtry obviously looking to wear him down.
Daughtry keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Smith chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Daughtry can pounce on him.
Daughtry throws a low kick, looking for Smith's leg but Smith calmly moves out of range.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Daughtry tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Smith misses with an uppercut.
Smith misses the shot to the body.
Smith blocks a leg kick.
Daughtry cracks the inside of Smith's front leg.
Smith jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Daughtry wants to land a leg kick but Smith is out of range.
Smith has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Daughtry takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Smith throws a hook but Daughtry blocks it.

Smith throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Daughtry smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Daughtry takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Smith takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Smith throws a jab when Daughtry was well out of range.

Daughtry moves away from the strike by Smith.
Daughtry throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smith sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Daughtry goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Daughtry buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Daughtry shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Daughtry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Smith keeps the fight on the outside.
Daughtry lands a head kick. Smith smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Smith is trying desperately to land a takedown but Daughtry is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Smith.
Daughtry tries to land a leg kick but Smith saw it coming and moves away.
Daughtry walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Smith checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Daughtry throws a leg kick that misses.
Smith throws an off balance right hand
and Daughtry makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Smith really felt that one!
Smith takes one on the button.
Smith misses with a straight right.
Daughtry ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Daughtry slips under a jab.
Smith gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Daughtry.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Daughtry misses with a looping right.
Daughtry throws a leg kick that is checked
and Smith counters with a nice uppercut.
Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blake Daughtry dominated that round.
The cut man is working on John Smith's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Smith throws a big shot that misses.
Smith throws a hook but Daughtry blocks it.
Smith is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Smith cracks Daughtry with a big right hand and Daughtry goes down!
Daughtry is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith advances position into side control!
Oh Daughtry is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith cracks Daughtry with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Smith immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Daughtry is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Smith!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Smith!
A very excited looking John Smith rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
