Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonh Kurtis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and graham mahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurtis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wrong Answer. On his way into the cage it seems that Jonh Kurtis has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jonh Kurtis seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jonh Kurtis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, graham mahon! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! mahon shoots for a takedown but Kurtis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kurtis misses with a body shot.
Kurtis connects with a solid leg kick. mahon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. mahon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kurtis is just riding it out for now. mahon eventually gives up the hold. Kurtis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kurtis wants to control but mahon is keeping busy.
mahon wants to free his trapped foot but Kurtis is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. mahon is working for a submission of some sort.
Kurtis wants to control but mahon is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kurtis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. mahon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kurtis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kurtis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and mahon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kurtis! mahon misses with a head shot. mahon looks gassed! Kurtis is looking to improve his position but mahon isn't that keen on the idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. mahon lands a nice shot to the head. mahon is landing with some decent strikes but Kurtis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Poor strikes thrown by mahon there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurtis is looking to improve his position but mahon isn't that keen on the idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kurtis tries to lock up and control but mahon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. mahon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. mahon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kurtis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
mahon has control of Kurtis's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kurtis regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kurtis tries to reverse the position but mahon maintains control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kurtis in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. mahon in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
mahon pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Kurtis taking shots to the head. mahon jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kurtis is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kurtis and mahon has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
graham mahon dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
mahon shoots and misses and Kurtis counters with a shoot takedown. mahon fights it but they end up in guard. Kurtis trying to control the position from guard on top but mahon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. mahon is looking to stand up but Kurtis isn't so interested in that idea. Kurtis forces his way into half guard. mahon is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kurtis pulls his head out easily. mahon missing with punches from the bottom.
Kurtis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. mahon tries to roll over but Kurtis keeps him under control. Kurtis lands strikes from half guard. mahon is trying to get back to full guard. mahon is staying active underneath Kurtis, who seems content to just control the action from this position. mahon tries to get to full guard but Kurtis has control of the leg.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kurtis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. mahon flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kurtis landing shots from mount. mahon is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
mahon tries to improve his position but instead Kurtis has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on mahon's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Kurtis connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for mahon to escape the position.
mahon turns into Kurtis and is now in his guard.
Kurtis looking for a sweep. Not yet Kurtis, not yet. mahon lands a couple of elbows. Kurtis throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kurtis wants to stand but mahon is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kurtis is looking for a triangle but mahon pushes his legs off easily.
mahon stopping the sweep attempt from Kurtis. Kurtis throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
mahon decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kurtis, up you get! Kurtis swats away the attempt to clinch by mahon. mahon wants to clinch but Kurtis slips to the side and Kurtis counters with a nice double leg into half guard. mahon wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonh Kurtis dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Kurtis throws a nice looking combination but mahon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kurtis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kurtis shoots in looking for a takedown. mahon tries to sprawl out of it but Kurtis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. mahon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kurtis rushes mahon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. mahon lands a takedown into guard.
Kurtis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. mahon stands and throws Kurtis's legs to the side, diving into side control. mahon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. mahon tries for a kimura but Kurtis is defending well. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. mahon tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Kurtis is looking to get back to his feet here but mahon is keeping cool and he's managed to take Kurtis's back. mahon looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kurtis covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
mahon doesn't have the hooks in and Kurtis manages to turn into his guard.
mahon throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. mahon feints and as Kurtis raises his hands in defense, mahon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kurtis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. mahon looking to pass the guard. mahon throws a strike but Kurtis rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. mahon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now mahon is on top in guard.

mahon pushing down on Kurtis's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. mahon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that's the end of the fight! graham mahon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think mahon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
