The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richards tries to close the distance and clinch but Collins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Richards lands with a hook. Collins tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Fred Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Richards clobbers Collins with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Collins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Richards tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Collins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
