Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Palowakski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob comes into the arena with Notkea rotta - Itä meidän blaring out of the sound system. Palowakski is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Burning Down the House. Fred Palowakski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 19 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Billy Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Palowakski! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob drops Palowakski with a big left hand and mounts him. Palowakski is in big trouble!
It looks like Fred Palowakski has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Palowakski sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Palowakski is concentrating on defense, preventing Bob from advancing position. Palowakski keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Palowakski is refusing to be controlled, as Bob sits in half guard. Bob thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Palowakski's head. Palowakski makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Palowakski. Palowakski not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bob trying to control the position from guard on top but Palowakski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bob accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bob is looking to pass into half guard but Palowakski pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Palowakski is in guard. Bob working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Palowakski has passed into half guard!
That's one minute gone in the round. Palowakski looks to land a strike but Bob avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Bob keeping moving, preventing Palowakski from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Palowakski scoring with some ground and pound. Palowakski won't allow Bob to get back to his feet. Bob has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Palowakski wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving. Bob not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bob is looking to work some ground and pound but Palowakski has wrist control. Bob tries to free his leg and advance position but Palowakski is retaining full guard. Bob is working Palowakski over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Bob throws a big right hand that misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bob wants to control from the top but Palowakski keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bob trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've been hearing good reports from Bob's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. "I don't think so" says Palowakski as he avoids it easily. Bob shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Palowakski defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bob looks to land a combination. Palowakski sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bob shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Palowakski pinned against the cage. Palowakski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've been informed that Palowakski has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. No joy there for Palowakski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Billy Bob dominated that round. The cut man is working on Fred Palowakski's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bob tries for a takedown but Palowakski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Palowakski defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bob. Palowakski wants to clinch up but Bob keeps it at a distance. Billy Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bob shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bob shoots in for a takedown but Palowakski shows good takedown defense. Bob just misses with a punch to the body.
An inside leg kick from Bob misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Palowakski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Danga de danga de dang - Palowakski scores with a four punch combination! Bob shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bob shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Palowakski as he jumps to the side. Palowakski fails with the takedown. Bob fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bob fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Palowakski rushes Bob and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Palowakski is pressed up against the cage. Bob has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Palowakski down to the mat. Palowakski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bob doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bob takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bob takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Palowakski. Bob shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Palowakski pinned against the cage. Palowakski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bob tries to keep at a distance but Palowakski has taken the fight into the clinch. Bob can't get the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Palowakski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bob pulls his leg out and moves away.
Palowakski throws a right hand that Bob ducks under and follows up with a left that Bob also avoids with ease. Bob lands a jab. Palowakski is looking to clinch. Horrible takedown by Bob or perhaps it was just good defense by Palowakski which made him look bad. Bob closes this distance looking for a takedown but Palowakski circles away. Bob slips a jab from Palowakski. Bob shoots in looking for a takedown but Palowakski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bob's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bob tries to score a power double leg takedown but Palowakski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bob somewhat. Bob takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bob has his takedown stuffed and Palowakski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bob keeps the fight on the outside. Bob fails with the takedown and Bob takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Palowakski steps into range and cracks Bob with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Bob flops backwards and Palowakski dives into his guard looking to finish!
Bob is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Palowakski controlling from the top position. Oh Bob is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Palowakski lands a couple of digs. Bob seems to have got his legs back now. Palowakski working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Palowakski stands up and beckons Bob to his feet. Palowakski throws a head kick that misses. Bob cracks Palowakski with a good jab. Bob throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Palowakski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bob dives in and grabs Palowakski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Palowakski pushes down on Bob's head and hops out. Palowakski wants to clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bob displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Palowakski. Bob misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Palowakski.

Fred Palowakski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Fred Palowakski's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Fred Palowakski was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bob changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Palowakski tries to avoid it but Bob manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Palowakski to the ground. Palowakski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. No luck for Bob with that takedown attempt. Bob lands the left hand. Palowakski misses the shot to the body. Bob with a lazy takedown attempt and Palowakski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him. Palowakski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Palowakski wants it to stay on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Palowakski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Palowakski has managed to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bob is looking for a sweep. Palowakski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Palowakski. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Palowakski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bob avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Palowakski. Palowakski is trying to work for a kimura. Bob has one foot on Palowakski's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Palowakski gets in close and instigates a clinch. Nice body punch from Palowakski. Bob manages to pull guard.
