Conway comes into the arena with Money in The Bank blaring out of the sound system. Ryan Conway had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Conway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeff Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Conway closes the distance and clinches.

Conway gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Conway got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jordan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Conway has managed to get both his arms back between Jordan's legs - danger averted.
Conway tries to free his leg and advance position but Jordan is retaining full guard.
Conway trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Jordan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jordan is working to avoid the ground and pound but Conway connects with a decent elbow.

It looks like Jeff Jordan has been cut.
Conway trying to control the position but Jordan is working away.

Conway wants to control but Jordan is keeping him busy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jordan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Conway pulls his head out easily.

Conway seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Conway in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jordan tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Conway!
