Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Krueger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tyson Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Freddy Krueger!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krueger has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.
Krueger leaning his opponent against the cage.

Jackson manages to pull guard.

Krueger is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Krueger drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Krueger off! Krueger jumps back into Jackson's guard.
Krueger tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard.
Jackson is trying to control the position but Krueger postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krueger thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krueger has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jackson is proving hard to escape from.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jackson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jackson.
Jackson avoids a kick to the body.

Krueger closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Krueger lands in his opponent's guard.
Jackson is trying to control the position but Krueger postures up.

Krueger won't allow Jackson to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Krueger, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Krueger against the cage but Krueger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Krueger fails in his attempt to clinch.

Jackson instigates a clinch.
Jackson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Krueger can't get the takedown.
Jackson looking to stall.
Jackson fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jackson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Krueger smiles and moves away.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Krueger paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jackson fails to land the takedown.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Krueger but Krueger pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Krueger scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Jackson is trying to stand up here but Krueger is controlling him well.
Jackson is looking for a sweep. Krueger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Krueger is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jackson trying to control from the bottom.

Jackson is staying active underneath Krueger, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jackson wants to control but Krueger is keeping busy.

Krueger escapes and gets back to his feet.
Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Krueger moves out of range easily.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Krueger counters with a takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Krueger advances to full mount.
Jackson is looking to get to half guard.
Krueger trying to control but he's not successful this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Freddy Krueger dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tyson Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jackson stuffs the takedown.
Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krueger's waist but Krueger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.
Jackson is looking to clinch but Krueger is avoiding it.
Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Krueger is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Krueger circles away and we're back to standing.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Krueger gets a clinch.

Krueger breaks from the clinch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Krueger trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Krueger can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Krueger forces his way into half guard.

Krueger wants to work for an arm triangle but Jackson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Krueger lands a nice short elbow.

Krueger is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jackson defends it well.
Krueger passes the guard and advances to mount!

Jackson is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krueger moves to the back position.

Krueger is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Krueger gets his hands free as Jackson looks to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Krueger is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Jackson with him. Jackson is trying to defend but Krueger has an arm under the chin now! Jackson grimaces and is forced to tap out!
