The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardona feints a jab promting Martinez to slip. Ardona then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Martinez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Ardona - that will leave a mark!
Martinez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ardona was well out of range. Poor timing from Martinez.
Nice defenses there by Ardona.
Ardona connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ardona fails to land with a series of punches.
Martinez lands a jab-cross combination.
Ardona falls off balance throwing a combination
and Martinez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Martinez swings and misses with a shot to the body
and as Martinez looks to reset his feet, Ardona counters with a string of precision punches, right on the button, sending Martinez crashing to the canvas! Martinez is in big trouble here! The referee has started the count but Martinez is so wobbly that the ref has given up the count at 6 - he's called the bout off! Ardona is your winner!
