Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Bellator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asher Asher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bellator comes into the arena with A Lesson Never Learned blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bellator ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Asher moves away.
Asher misses with a leg kick.
Bellator lands with a thumping leg kick.

and Asher counters with a good, hard body kick but Bellator shrugs it off.
Bellator closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bellator definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bellator seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
