Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Krunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Shabadoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Krunov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Marcus Krunov. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Krunov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krunov slips under a jab.
Shabadoo throws a looping overhand right but Krunov ducks down to avoid it.
Shabadoo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Marcus Krunov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Krunov shoots in but Shabadoo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Shabadoo throws a leg kick but Krunov sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Krunov shoots in for a takedown but Shabadoo shows good takedown defense.

Krunov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shabadoo's waist but Shabadoo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krunov off to one side.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shabadoo is nestled in close to Krunov, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Shabadoo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krunov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Shabadoo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Krunov's guard.
Shabadoo is looking for a kimura but Krunov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Shabadoo to get the leverage.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Krunov.

Krunov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shabadoo as he jumps to the side.

Shabadoo stands and throws Krunov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Oh Krunov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shabadoo is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Krunov will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Krunov seems to have got his legs back now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Well Shabadoo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
