Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takanori Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Elvis Wilcox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takanori Sung! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Sung, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sung avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wilcox is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wilcox really is a fat lump. Wilcox fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sung lands a jab to the head.
Sung fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wilcox dodges the punch combination from Sung.
Sung darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sung looks to land a combination. Wilcox sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Sung misses with a straight left. Nice cross by Sung. Wilcox fails in his attempt to clinch. Sung throws a series of punches but Wilcox moves out of range. Sung tries to sprawl but Wilcox drives through with a takedown into half guard. Wilcox perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Sung is looking to get back to is feet but Wilcox passes into side control.
Sung is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wilcox is controlling him well. Wilcox really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Sung looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee asks Wilcox politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Wilcox prefers to stall for the moment though. Wilcox's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Wilcox has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We're going to have a standup here because Elvis Wilcox wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Sung misses with a hook. Wilcox ducked under it nicely. Sung misses with a few strikes there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sung throws a right and a left that both miss. Sung falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wilcox counters by moving into the clinch. Sung avoids the elbow strike from Wilcox, against the cage.
Wilcox is trying to pull guard but Sung has him pressed against the cage. Wilcox landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Wilcox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wilcox tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wilcox closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wilcox is taking a breather. Sung says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Elvis Wilcox wasn't doing enough on the ground. Wilcox shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wilcox is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilcox won't allow Sung to get back to his feet. Sung being controlled here, momentarily. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Elvis Wilcox just wasn't active enough. Wilcox dives in for a single leg takedown but Sung sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sung managing to block the knees to the body from Wilcox.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wilcox stalling.

Elvis Wilcox dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wilcox doesn't manage to clinch there - Sung circles away.
Wilcox with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sung to score with a decent uppercut. Sung throws a series of punches but Wilcox moves out of range. Sung circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wilcox shoots in but Sung avoids the takedown attempt easily. Sung throws an overhand right that lands on Wilcox's shoulder, as Wilcox tries to avoid the shot. Sung lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilcox circles away quickly and effectively. Nice shot by Sung. Sung throws a nice looking combination but Wilcox bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Elvis Wilcox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sung will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A combination from Sung does no damage. Sung keeps the fight on the outside. Wilcox darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sung is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilcox lands strikes from half guard. Wilcox perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Elvis Wilcox has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Sung lands with a hook. Wilcox tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Nice takedown defense from Sung. No joy for Wilcox on that attempt. Wilcox gets the takedown into side control. Wilcox controls the position from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilcox works to advance to full mount. Sung defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Sung tries to buck Wilcox off but Wilcox takes his back! Sung is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is taking a good look at Sung as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Wilcox!
What can Sung do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elvis Wilcox dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Wilcox passes easily into side control. Nice work. Wilcox is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sung is trying to escape and Wilcox transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sung is forced to tap! Nice work there by Wilcox! Very nice indeed!
