The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy lunges at Tanikawa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tanikawa's hand.
Roy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tanikawa.

and Roy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Roy steps into range and cracks Tanikawa with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Tanikawa flops backwards and Roy dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Sadaharu Tanikawa has been cut.

Tanikawa wants to sweep but no luck.
Tanikawa is still in real trouble! Can Roy finish him?
Roy postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Tanikawa covers up, he's hurt! Roy keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Roy and the ref steps in to end the fight! Roy can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
