Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wallace Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Tao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Wallace Jefferson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jin Tao!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Tao counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tao.
Jefferson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tao backwards.
Tao is trying to force a seperation but Jefferson has the dominant position.
Jefferson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tao after a bit of a struggle.
Tao tries to pull guard but Jefferson won't allow it.
Tao tries to circle away but Jefferson has him pinned against the cage.
Tao tries for a takedown but Jefferson manages to get underhooks.
Tao slows down the pace here.

Jefferson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jefferson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tao has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jefferson has managed to get both his arms back between Tao's legs - danger averted.

Jefferson gets to his feet - Tao follows without any prompting.
Tao just misses with a punch to the body.
Jefferson moves out of range of the body kick.
Tao tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jefferson swivels and escapes.
Tao moves in looking to clinch but Jefferson pushes him off.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tao is defended easily by Jefferson.

Jefferson works over Tao's head and body with a nice combination.
Tao tries a head kick but it misses.
Tao fails with an attempt to clinch.

Jefferson forces Tao back against the cage and clinches.

Jefferson pulls guard effortlessly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jefferson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tao is looking to escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tao can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tao can't escape the position.
Tao tries to control the position but Jefferson now has his back.

Tao is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jefferson gets his way!
Tao breaks Jefferson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tao stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jefferson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tao passes Jefferson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jin Tao will probably get the nod.
That's time! Jefferson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jefferson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jefferson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jefferson closes the distance and clinches.
Tao taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Tao wants to break free but Jefferson has control.
Tao jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jefferson walks away with a smile on his face. Tao gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tao stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tao wants it to stay on the feet.
Tao throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tao dives in for a single leg takedown but Jefferson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jefferson is looking to take this one to the mat.
Tao swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jefferson blocks a body shot from Tao.

Tao gets control of Jefferson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tao will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jefferson throws a big right hand that misses.
Tao working a defensive guard but Jefferson manages to pass into side control anyway.

Tao rolls, trying to escape but Jefferson keeps control of the position.

Tao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jefferson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Tao's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jefferson is looking for a choke. Tao gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Tao manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Tao wanted to stand there but Jefferson had control of the position.

Jefferson wants to sweep but no luck.

Jefferson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tao can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jefferson can't keep his opponent in guard - Tao advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Still in half guard, Tao seems content to control.
Jin Tao has got the better of the ground game so far.
Jefferson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tao is working away from the top position though.
Tao throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jefferson keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Wallace Jefferson just wasn't active enough.
Jefferson keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tao avoids the head kick by Jefferson.
Tao leaves Jefferson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jin Tao will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Tao gets the takedown into side control.
Jefferson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Tao tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jefferson controls his leg.
Jefferson is staying active underneath Tao, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jefferson is looking for a sweep. Tao is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tao wants to take a breather but Jefferson is having none of it.
Tao drops an elbow to the side of Jefferson's head.
Tao missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Jefferson won't allow Tao to pass to mount.

Jefferson tries to roll over but Tao keeps him under control.
Tao is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jin Tao.
Tao misses with a few strikes there.
Jefferson fails with the takedown
and Jefferson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jefferson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tao manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tao lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jefferson circles away quickly and effectively.

Jefferson shoots and misses
and Tao counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Jefferson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Tao fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jefferson to the ground. Tao is now in Jefferson's guard.
Jefferson wants to sweep here but Tao controlling him for the moment.
Jefferson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jefferson wriggles free and stands up.

Tao stands up over Jefferson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Jefferson wants to stand up but Tao is controlling him.
Tao looking to sit in guard and control but Jefferson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tao wants to sweep but no luck.
Tao not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Jefferson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Jefferson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tao dives on top into guard.

Jefferson looking for a guillotine here but Tao defends easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tao would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Jin Tao comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
