Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Braydon Lee Key! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John George! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! George fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lee Key to the ground. George is now in Lee Key's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Lee Key looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lee Key escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. George gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. George must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lee Key has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but George can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lee Key looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lee Key looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee Key, not yet. Lee Key manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. George manages to get himself to full guard.
Lee Key drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lee Key jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. George has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Lee Key is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. George being controlled here, momentarily. Lee Key pushes down on George's leg and manages to get into half guard. George tries to get to full guard but Lee Key has control of the leg. Lee Key takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee Key is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee Key seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. George is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
