Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bork Laser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Calvin Charles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bork Laser! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laser moves into range and clinches up with Charles. Charles could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Laser jumps guard but Charles stands there with Laser around his waist. Laser gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Laser has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Charles uses from the top position. Laser can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Charles controls the pace. Charles might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Laser wants to sweep here but Charles controlling him for the moment. Charles postures up in Laser's guard and throws a big left but Laser blocks it. Charles trying to control the position from guard on top but Laser is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Laser trying to keep a closed guard but Charles is proving a slippery customer.
Laser is looking to stand up but Charles isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Laser closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Charles to the mat! Charles manages to get full guard. Laser trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Laser trying to control but Charles is working from the bottom. Laser might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Charles haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Charles has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Laser can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Charles manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charles punishing his opponent with strikes. Charles looking for a guillotine from mount but Laser is having none of it. Laser is in all sorts of trouble here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Laser looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Charles is not going to allow Laser to sit and survive in this position.

Laser looks winded! Charles avoiding Laser 's attempts to control his hands. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bork Laser will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Laser steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Charles. That one must have hurt. Laser misses with a head kick.
Laser tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Charles paws at him with a jab and circles away. Laser darts in looking for a takedown but Charles gets double underhooks and turns Laser into the cage. Charles has Laser pressed against the cage.
Laser can't break the clinch.
Charles pulls guard effortlessly. Charles is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Laser drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Charles dives on top into guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Laser can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Laser is breathing heavily. Charles gets to his feet - Laser follows without any prompting. Calvin Charles is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Charles fails with the takedown. Charles swats away the attempt to clinch by Laser. Charles misses with a takedown attempt - Laser sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Charles gets caught napping as Laser dives in and scores a takedown. Charles manages to retain guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laser is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Laser trying to control the position from guard on top but Charles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Charles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Laser pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Charles is keeping the position for now. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Charles seems keen to control Laser's posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Calvin Charles wasn't doing enough on the ground. Charles shoots for a double leg takedown but Laser sprawls well. He's pushed Charles's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Calvin Charles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charles lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Laser backs up against the cage.
Laser clinches. Charles has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Charles is looking to take this one to the mat. Laser is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Charles gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Charles successfully pulls guard.
Laser wants to get up but he can't break Charles's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Laser stopping the sweep attempt from Charles. Laser throws a strike but Charles rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laser had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Charles defends it easily. Laser is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Charles defends well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Charles stands up from Laser's guard - Charles perhaps looking for a knockout. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Calvin Charles dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Charles fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Laser stuffs the takedown. Laser closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Charles quickly recovers to half guard. Charles tries to get to full guard but Laser has control of the leg. Laser wants to stand but Charles has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Charles avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Laser.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Laser is going to stand back up.
Laser takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Laser is controlling the pace.
Laser seems to be working for a kimura but Charles defends the submission attempt. Charles moves into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Laser wants to control from the top but Charles keeps moving. Charles looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Laser wants to pass the guard but Charles is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bork Laser was stalling too much, according to the referee. The fight stays on the outside here - Laser looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Laser swats away the attempt to clinch by Charles. Laser swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Charles counters with a nice body kick. Charles fails with the takedown and Laser counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Calvin Charles. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Laser. Laser wants to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laser fails with a takedown attempt. Laser swats away the attempt to clinch by Charles. Charles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Laser swivels and escapes. Charles tries to clinch up but Laser circles away and keeps his distance. Charles misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Charles rushes Laser and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Charles lands a body shot in the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Bork Laser comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Laser has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
