The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamadoui avoids a kick to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Doi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Doi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hamadoui quickly recovers to half guard.

Sameer Hamadoui has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hamadoui scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Doi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hamadoui is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hamadoui is working an open guard so Doi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Doi.

Doi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Yoshi Doi decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
