Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ippo Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Bullet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ribeiro comes to the cage accompanied by bubble pop. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bullet fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bullet has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Bullet misses with a straight left.
Jake Bullet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ribeiro looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ribeiro has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ribeiro there as he acknowledges the shot.

Bullet connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Ribeiro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bullet but Bullet pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ribeiro has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bullet finds it's way round the side to connect with Ribeiro's head.
Ribeiro looks for a takedown but Bullet sprawls well.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ribeiro takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bullet lands a jab to Ribeiro's midsection.
Ribeiro shoots in and drives through. Bullet sprawls well.
A punch lands to the side of Ribeiro 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bullet misses with a straight right.
Ribeiro keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bullet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bullet lands a nice shot that snaps Ribeiro's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Bullet throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ribeiro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bullet has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ribeiro looks for a takedown but Bullet sprawls well.
Ribeiro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bullet pinned against the cage. Bullet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bullet looks to land a right hand but Ribeiro moved out of range.

Ribeiro gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bullet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ribeiro is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Jake Bullet showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ribeiro looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Bullet throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bullet lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ribeiro. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A jab lands there for Bullet.
Bullet lands a nice shot to the body.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Ribeiro might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Well Bullet has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Jake Bullet rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Ippo Ribeiro stepped up to the mic, saying 'i'm injured'.
