Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tungh Pungh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tungh Pungh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nash tries to clinch there but Pungh circles away.
Nash closes the distance and clinches. Pungh just leaning against Nash, taking a breather. Pungh pulls guard. Nash drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pungh manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nash has Pungh in his guard. Nash preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Pungh wants to control from the top but Nash keeps moving. Nash might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pungh slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Pungh scoring with punches from side control. Pungh lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Nash down.
Nash is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pungh is controlling him well. Pungh decides to stand back up. Pungh steps back and let's Nash get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pungh. Pungh closes the distance but Nash moves to the side and Nash counters by moving into the clinch. Nash breaks the clinch.
No luck for Pungh with that takedown attempt. Nash drops Pungh with a left and a right! Oh, Pungh is hurt - Nash dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Tungh Pungh has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pungh is not content to let Nash control the position. The ground and pound from Nash seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Pungh is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Nash's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Pungh wants to control but Nash is keeping busy.

Nash is putting a hurting on Pungh here, landing some big shots from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nash fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pungh, pushing him back against the cage. Pungh tries to pull guard but Nash holds him up against the cage and eventually Pungh drops back down to his feet.

Nash wants to stand but Pungh is controlling the position. Nash trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Pungh won't allow Nash to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nash keeping full guard, as Pungh tries to pass. Pungh is breathing heavily. Pungh in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Nash looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Pungh puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Pungh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nash wants to land a leg kick but Pungh is out of range. Pungh wants to clinch and Nash counters with a right hand to the body. Nash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pungh takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Nash closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nash working away. Nash tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Nash tries to stand but Pungh is controlling his head. Pungh manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nash's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nash wants to stand up but Pungh has a hold of him and won't allow it. Pungh moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pungh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pungh avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pungh wants to stand but Nash is controlling the position. Pungh keeping moving, preventing Nash from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nash with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Pungh is trying to keep Nash in close.
Nash gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The fight stays on the outside here - Nash looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pungh doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nash tries to clinch but Pungh moves out of range. Kevin Nash is winning the standup battle so far. Nash keeps the fight on the outside. A cross from Nash lands. Kevin Nash is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Nash uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pungh has time to react. Pungh has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Nash lands a jab to the nose.

Pungh gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Nash wants to get back to striking at distance but Pungh won't allow it.

Pungh shoots in for a double leg but Nash sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Pungh avoids the head kick by Nash.

Pungh throwing shots but missing, from side control. Nash is pushing Pungh's head away, looking to escape. Pungh manages to hold on to the position though. Pungh grinds an elbow into Nash's temple. Kevin Nash overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nash wants to get back to his feet. You can see the frustration on Nash's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Nash is trying to get back to half guard. Pungh cracks Nash with a big right hand but Nash just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pungh closes the distance and clinches up with Nash, looking for a takedown. Pungh pushes Nash against the cage but Nash circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Left hook, right uppercut from Nash. A head kick misses from Nash. Nash throws a head kick that misses. Nash throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pungh shoots in for a takedown but Nash shows good takedown defense. Pungh thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Nash if he has to take too many more of those.
Nash forces Pungh back against the cage and clinches. Nash pulls guard effortlessly. Nash trying to strike off his back.
Pungh scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nash is looking to stand up but Pungh isn't so interested in that idea. Nash looking to control but Pungh passes into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Kevin Nash showed his dominance in that final round. Well Nash has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
