Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Light will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luke Light seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Light tries to clinch up but Abbott circles away and keeps his distance.
Light misses with a double jab.
Light scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Abbott throws a sloppy head kick and Light moves out of range easily.

Light digs a good body shot into Abbott's ribs.

That's time! Abbott's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Light stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Light might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Abbott takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Light connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Abbott's hands.
Abbott looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Light catches Abbott with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Luke Light is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Abbott tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Light defends well and Abbott ends up having to push Light into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Abbott is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

After the fight, Luke Light was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
