Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thumbo Plights (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thumbo Plights!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plights closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Foster did well to prevent Plights getting side control.
Foster is trying to stand back up but Plights is controlling him
Foster wants to control but Plights is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Plights looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Plights seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Plights trying to control the action but Foster is working from the bottom.
Plights is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Foster defends it well.
Plights passes the guard and advances to mount!
Foster wants to control but Plights is having none of it.

Foster is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foster is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Plights working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Foster turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Plights off and cradles Foster's limp body as Plights celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Thumbo Plights!
