Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shananigan Lurendrejer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Sir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lurendrejer comes to the cage accompanied by Blunt - Reggae Da Nation . Sir has chosen Kickstart as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shananigan Lurendrejer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pablo Sir! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lurendrejer slips a straight right by Sir. Lurendrejer ducks under a wild hook from Sir. Sir cracks Lurendrejer with a good jab. Sir throws a poor cross that misses
and Lurendrejer counters with an outside leg kick.

enabling Lurendrejer to counter with a crisp jab. Sir loads up on a big right hand but Lurendrejer slips the punch. Sir's coach down at Team Hopkins was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sir's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Sir misses with a right hand and Lurendrejer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lurendrejer moves away from the strike by Sir. Sir ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lurendrejer moves away. Sir rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lurendrejer counters with a slapping leg kick. Sir tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lurendrejer was well out of range. Poor timing from Sir. Lurendrejer ducks under a wild hook from Sir.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lurendrejer gets the takedown into side control. Sir tries to buck Lurendrejer off but Lurendrejer is having none of it. Lurendrejer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sir is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sir is trying to improve his position. Lurendrejer trying to control the action but Sir is working from the bottom. Lurendrejer looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sir is trying to buck Lurendrejer off. Lurendrejer is trying to get an arm triangle but Sir is defending well.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lurendrejer stands up and beckons Sir to his feet. Sir throws a jab when Lurendrejer was well out of range. Sir throws a shot from downtown. Lurendrejer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sir swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sir stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A lazy left from Sir finds it's target.
It looks like Shananigan Lurendrejer has been cut. Good shot there by Sir. Sir throws a head kick that misses. Lurendrejer fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sir throws a leg kick that is checked and Lurendrejer counters with an outside leg kick.

Sir throws the left hand but Lurendrejer avoids the punch easily. Lurendrejer throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Sir throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lurendrejer. Sir bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lurendrejer's head backwards. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lurendrejer tries to move into range but Sir moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Sir is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lurendrejer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A swing and a miss from Sir. Sir misses with a right hand and Lurendrejer counters with a nice kick to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pablo Sir dominated that round. The cut man is working on Shananigan Lurendrejer's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Sir takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Lurendrejer closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sir's guard. Sir has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lurendrejer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sir keeping moving, preventing Lurendrejer from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sir looking for a guillotine here but Lurendrejer defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lurendrejer wants to stand but Sir is controlling his posture from full guard. Lurendrejer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lurendrejer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sir throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Sir had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lurendrejer defends it easily. Lurendrejer connects with a couple of short punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lurendrejer slips nicely into half guard. Lurendrejer seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Sir wants to get back to full guard. Lurendrejer drops an elbow to the side of Sir's head. Lurendrejer uses his free foot to push down on Sir's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sir. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lurendrejer goes for an armbar but Sir turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Sir. Lurendrejer looking for a guillotine here but Sir defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sir stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lurendrejer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lurendrejer is looking for a triangle but Sir pushes his legs off easily.

Lurendrejer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sir! Sir is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sir manages to regain half guard. Good work. Lurendrejer lands with a punch from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lurendrejer lands a nice short elbow. Lurendrejer seems to be looking for submissions.

Sir throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lurendrejer on the side of the head. Sir connects with a jab. Horrible takedown by Sir or perhaps it was just good defense by Lurendrejer which made him look bad. Sir misses with a jab to the body

Pablo Sir seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sir looks to throw the jab but Lurendrejer is out of range. Sir throws a lazy uppercut
and Lurendrejer counters with a body kick. Lurendrejer fails in his attempt to clinch. Lurendrejer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sir manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sir looks to throw the jab but Lurendrejer is out of range. Sir misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lurendrejer moves out of range as Sir strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lurendrejer rushes Sir and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Lurendrejer tries to score a body lock takedown but Sir shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lurendrejer fails to pull guard.

Sir tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lurendrejer just stands there and leans against the cage. Shananigan Lurendrejer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Sir. Sir tries to work over Lurendrejer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Lurendrejer tries to pull guard but Sir won't allow it.

A head punch on the inside from Sir fails to land. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sir tries to throw a body punch but Lurendrejer avoids it by throwing Sir back against the cage. Sir lands with a left to the head. Sir is trying to force a seperation but Lurendrejer has the dominant position. Sir is defending well against a takedown attempt. Lurendrejer manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Lurendrejer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sir is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Lurendrejer blocking some punches.

Lurendrejer gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Sir regains guard.
Sir has his foot on Lurendrejer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lurendrejer works his way back into a safe position though. Sir looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sir is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Shananigan Lurendrejer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lurendrejer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sir is proving hard to escape from. Lurendrejer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lurendrejer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sir quickly recovers to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sir works his way to full guard. Good work. Lurendrejer lands a couple of elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lurendrejer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sir's guard. Sir regains full guard. Nicely done. Lurendrejer pushes down on Sir's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sir takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lurendrejer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sir is just riding it out for now. Lurendrejer eventually gives up the hold. Sir looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lurendrejer tries to stand and escape but Sir is controlling the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lurendrejer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sir!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Pablo Sir. I think Sir has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
