Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Bolda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Jonhson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolda comes into the arena with Fett's Vette blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonhson throws a lazy uppercut
so Bolda counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bolda throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Bolda pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jonhson is keeping the position for now.
Jonhson is controlling Bolda's posture.
Bolda landing with the ground and pound.
Jonhson wants to stand up but Bolda is controlling him.
Bolda throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jonhson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bolda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bolda works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jonhson is defending against the submission attempts here by Bolda.

Bolda swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jonhson is now in Bolda's guard. A big mistake from Bolda there, giving up the dominant position!
Jonhson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bolda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jonhson has managed to get both his arms back between Bolda's legs - danger averted.
Jonhson won't allow Bolda to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bolda is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jonhson defends well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bolda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jonhson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jonhson stands up from Bolda's guard - Jonhson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Bolda misses with a looping left.
A lazy left from Bolda finds it's target.
Jonhson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bolda doesn't seem bothered though.
Bolda throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bolda misses with a hook.
Bolda looks to throw the jab but Jonhson is out of range.
Jonhson takes one to the side of the head.

Bolda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jonhson as he jumps to the side.
Jonhson throws a right and a left that Bolda avoids nicely.
Jonhson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bolda slips under a jab from Jonhson.
Bolda misses with an uppercut. Jonhson saw that one coming.
Jonhson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bolda avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jonhson misses with a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jonhson jabs Bolda right on the nose. Bolda blinks but takes it well.

Bolda tries to clinch but Jonhson is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Bolda dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bolda rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jonhson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bolda misses with a straight right.
Bolda seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Bolda fails with a takedown attempt.
Jeff Jonhson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jonhson keeps the fight on the outside.
Bolda misses with a looping left.
Bolda rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jonhson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bolda, as that shot connected.
Bolda feints and as Jonhson raises his hands in defense, Bolda changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bolda lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Jonhson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jonhson is still trying to improve position.

Jonhson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jonhson wants to improve his position but instead Bolda has moved into half guard.
Bolda is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jonhson keeping hold of Bolda's head, controlling as best he can.

Bolda moves into full mount! Jonhson won't be happy about that!
Bolda goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jonhson is on top in guard.
Jonhson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bolda has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jonhson is looking to defend but Bolda has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jonhson! Bolda pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jonhson taps out and this one is all over!
