The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Fernandez.
Fernandez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fernandez lands a nice hook to Takeda's body. Takeda takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A jab-cross combination lands for Fernandez and sends Takeda crashing to the mat! Fernandez follows him down to the mat - Takeda regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Takeda is rocked!
Fernandez is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Takeda is still in real trouble! Can Fernandez finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fernandez postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Takeda bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Fernandez and the fight is over!
