The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Philosophical. That one must have hurt.
Boyka looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Philosophical feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Boyka sprawling to the canvas! Boyka rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Philosophical finish him?!
It looks like Juri Boyka has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Philosophical lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Boyka head around and knocks him out cold! Philosophical hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wax Philosophical!
