Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Edberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quickius Rapidus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stefan Edberg! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quickius Rapidus! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edberg needs to keep his hands up - Rapidus had a free shot at his head there. Edberg steps into range and cracks Rapidus with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Rapidus flops backwards and Edberg dives into his guard looking to finish!
Rapidus is rocked! Edberg wants to control from the top but Rapidus keeps moving. Rapidus is still in real trouble! Can Edberg finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Edberg pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rapidus is keeping the position for now. Rapidus seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edberg controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Edberg won't allow Rapidus to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Edberg prevents Rapidus from getting back to his feet. Rapidus pulls Edberg in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Edberg showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Rapidus controlling the position.
That's six minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Edbergis looking to pass into half guard but Rapidus pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rapidus is in guard. Rapidus looking to sit in guard and control but Edberg gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Rapidus has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Edberg looking to pass the guard.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Rapidus controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stefan Edberg dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Edberg takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Rapidus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Edberg. Stefan Edberg is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rapidus ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Edberg avoids a punch combination nicely.

Edberg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Edberg misses with a hook. Rapidus lands a body shot.
Rapidus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rapidus blocks a jab. Edberg throws a series of punches but Rapidus moves out of range. Rapidus lands a head shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Edberg takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Edberg tries a head kick but it misses.
Rapidus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Edberg looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Edberg walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Rapidus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Edberg is rocked! Rapidus darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Edberg's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Rapidus before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Quickius Rapidus! Quickius Rapidus is the new light heavyweight champion!
