Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Summit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rage Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Summit has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Summit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rage Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summit dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Summit's head and hops out.
The fighters circle momentarily. Johnson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A left lands for Johnson.
Johnson slaps away a takedown attempt from Summit, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Summit bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Johnson!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Johnson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Summit darts in looking for a takedown but Johnson gets double underhooks and turns Summit into the cage.

Rage Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Rage Johnson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
