The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Farland drives through with a takedown into Rodriguez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Rodriguez thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Rodriguez is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Farland defends it well.

Rodriguez stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Farland to get to his feet.
