Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pennington throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Brandon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Brandon closes the distance but Pennington moves to the side
and Pennington counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A bone on bone clash there as Pennington blocks the leg kick.
Brandon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Pennington throws a hook to the side of Brandon's head but Brandon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A head kick misses from Brandon.
Kenny Brandon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pennington. That's going to slow Brandon down.
Brandon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pennington.

Pennington has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Brandon is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Pennington throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Brandon darts in and clinches Pennington up against the cage.

Pennington tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Brandon swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A short uppercut from Pennington.
Pennington prevents a body shot from Brandon.
Pennington breaks the clinch.
Brandon tries to clinch but Pennington moves away
and Pennington connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Brandon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pennington counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Pennington.
Brandon takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Brandon tries to clinch but Pennington moves out of range.
Brandon throws a body kick that misses.
Pennington thuds a left hand into Brandon's body.
A good leg kick by Pennington.
Jab, jab by Pennington - just one landing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brandon darts in trying to clinch
and Brandon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tyler Pennington is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pennington cracks Brandon with a good jab.
Brandon closes the distance but Pennington moves to the side
and Pennington counters with a stiff right hand.
Brandon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pennington is fending him off so far but Brandon persists. Nope, Pennington circles away and we're back to standing.
Brandon doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pennington counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenny Brandon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brandon is breathing heavily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brandon. Pennington does a little dance to reset his feet.
Brandon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pennington tries to avoid it but Brandon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pennington to the ground. Pennington escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A jab from Pennington does it's job there.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Brandon. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Brandon fails to land with a series of punches.
Brandon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Brandon is rocked!
Brandon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pennington can pounce on him.
Pennington blocks a head kick by Brandon.
Pennington dips to his left and cracks Brandon with an uppercut!
Pennington throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pennington lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Oh Brandon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pennington is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Brandon had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brandon closes the distance but Pennington moves to the side
and Pennington counters with a crisp right hand that drops Brandon! Pennington lets Brandon back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Pennington defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brandon.
Pennington lands a big right hand that sends Brandon crashing to the mat! Pennington stays standing though and waves Brandon back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brandon tries to clinch but Pennington moves away
and Pennington counters with a slapping leg kick.
Pennington lands a right hook to the body.
Pennington chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Pennington scores with a jab. Brandon acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Pennington cracks Brandon with a right hand to the side of the head.
Pennington fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Brandon to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Brandon looks to clinch but Pennington throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Brandon taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Tyler Pennington!
