The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz Silva throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Simmons holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Simmons breaks the clinch.
Simmons closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ortiz Silva is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Ortiz Silva prevents the takedown attempt.
Simmons tries for a takedown but Ortiz Silva manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dino Simmons. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Simmons tries to pull guard but Ortiz Silva forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Ortiz Silva working hard to break the clinch.
Simmons escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ortiz Silva batters Simmons with a massive right followed by a huge left! Simmons is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Ortiz Silva lands a final crushing right hand to drop Simmons to the mat with a gruesome thud! Ortiz Silva is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
