Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hal Horne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Dezman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Dezman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hal Horne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Dezman! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Horne. Good shot there by Horne. Horne dives in and grabs Dezman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dezman pushes down on Horne's head and hops out. Horne with a poor takedown and Dezman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Horne. Dezman has had enough of the clinch but Horne keeps him there for the moment. Dezman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Horne walks away with a smile on his face. Dezman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dezman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Horne manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Horne blocks the body kick.
Horne throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dezman's head. No luck for Horne with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hal Horne. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horne fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Horne will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horne looks for a takedown but Dezman sprawls well. Dezman throws a head kick that misses. Dezman shoots for a takedown but Horne saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Horne misses with a wild combination.
Horne throws a head kick but Dezman moves out of range.
Dezman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The fight stays on the outside here - Horne looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dezman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Horne really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dezman throws a lazy body kick and Horne counters by moving into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dezman is looking to take this one to the mat. Horne works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Horne wants to control from the top but Dezman keeps moving. Horne is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dezman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Horne is looking to defend but Dezman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Horne! Dezman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Horne taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jake Dezman! During a confident post fight interview, Jake Dezman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
