Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Karim Chamakh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chamakh comes to the cage accompanied by Robyn - Indestructible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karim Chamakh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paulo Reyes! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Reyes misses its intended target. Reyes throws a body kick that misses and Chamakh counters with a nice double leg into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Chamakh throwing strikes but missing. Reyes keeping moving, preventing Chamakh from controlling successfully. Chamakh with a flurry of punches that miss. Reyes tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chamakh postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Reyes wants to stand up but Chamakh is controlling him. Chamakh working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Reyes is looking to stand up but Chamakh isn't so interested in that idea. Chamakh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Chamakh missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Chamakh prevents Reyes from getting back to his feet. Reyes trying to control the position here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chamakh wants to control from the top but Reyes keeps moving. Chamakh lands a couple of digs.

Reyes controlling the position. Chamakh landing with the ground and pound. Reyes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chamakh is one step ahead there. Chamakh tries to free his leg and advance position but Reyes is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chamakh chips away with some ground and pound. Chamakh throws a big elbow that misses. Chamakh connects with a couple of short punches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chamakh trying to control but Reyes is working from the bottom. We've been hearing that Chamakh has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Reyes lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Chamakh! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Reyes is stalling here but it's allowed Chamakh to get half guard.
Reyes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chamakh keeps working. Chamakh is looking for a sweep. Reyes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chamakh gets full guard. Reyes is fighting to break Chamakh's control of his arms but Chamakh is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Reyes preventing the sweep. Chamakh keeping moving, preventing Reyes from controlling successfully.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Paulo Reyes hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Reyes keeps Chamakh at a distance using the push kick. Chamakh tries to move into range but Reyes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Reyes misses the jab. A cross from Reyes lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Reyes lands a lovely overhand right. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reyes misses with a hook. Reyes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chamakh sees it coming and avoids it easily. Reyes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chamakh. Some wild striking there from Reyes.
Reyes throws a shot to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chamakh steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Reyes. Chamakh drops his hands momentarily and Reyes takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Reyes scores with a one two! Chamakh had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Paulo Reyes will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Reyes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chamakh paws at him with a jab and circles away. Reyes throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Chamakh counters with a shoot takedown. Reyes fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Chamakh trying to control the position from guard on top but Reyes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reyes wants to stand but Chamakh is controlling the position. Reyes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Chamakh tries to get to full guard but Reyes has control of the leg. Chamakh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reyes is working away from the top position though. Chamakh is controlling Reyes's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reyes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chamakh keeps working. Well, if Reyes is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes misses with an uppercut. Chamakh saw that one coming. Reyes misses with a double jab.
Paulo Reyes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Reyes throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Chamakh dodges the punch combination from Reyes.
Chamakh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reyes but Reyes pushes him off and we're back to square one. Reyes uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Paulo Reyes. Reyes throws a jab but it's blocked by Chamakh. Reyes throws a right hand that misses
and Chamakh counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Reyes! Reyes is working to avoid the ground and pound but Chamakh connects with a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chamakh lands some shots froms side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chamakh in side control, throwing shots but Reyes defends. Reyes is looking for a sweep. Reyes is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The strikes coming from Chamakh are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Reyes can't do much from the bottom here. Chamakh trying to control the position but Reyes is working away. You can see the frustration on Reyes's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Chamakh throwing shots but missing, from side control. Chamakh is putting a hurting on Reyes here, landing some big shots from side control. Chamakh scoring with punches and elbows. Reyes is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Reyes is rocked! The strikes coming from Chamakh are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Chamakh creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Reyes is still in real trouble! Can Chamakh finish him?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes is not content to let Chamakh control the position. Reyes is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Reyes seems to have recovered his senses. Reyes tries to buck Chamakh off but Chamakh is having none of it. Reyes takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Karim Chamakh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Reyes wants to control but Chamakh postures up. Chamakh working the head and body with strikes. Reyes is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Chamakh taking a breather here. Reyes wants to get back to his feet. Karim Chamakh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chamakh connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Reyes some visible discomfort.
Chamakh in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chamakh is looking to take a break and control but Reyes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chamakh working the ground and pound. Chamakh scoring with punches from side control. Reyes pushes Chamakh away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Chamakh gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Chamakh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reyes keeps working. Chamakh lands a nice forearm strike. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Chamakh trying to control the position but Reyes is working away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Reyes takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Chamakh is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reyes knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Paulo Reyes is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Reyes explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
And that's the end of the fight! Karim Chamakh showed his dominance in that final round. I think Reyes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
